Ted Cruz wins Kansas, Maine; Bernie Sanders wins Kansas, Nebraska

(CBS) – Ted Cruz came away with a couple of big electoral wins on Saturday. He’ll take the most delegates from both Kansas and Maine.

Cruz beat out Trump in the Maine caucuses, finishing with 46% of the vote compared to Trump’s 33%. John Kasich came in third with 12%. Marco Rubio earned 8%

In terms of delegates, that means Cruz will pull in twelve, Trump nine, and Kasich two.

In the Kansas caucuses, Ted Cruz finished with 48% of the vote, earning him twenty-three delegates. Donald Trump ended up with 23% of the vote, good for ten delegates. Rubio was a close third, with 17% and five delegates. Kasich pulled 11% of the vote and two delegates.

Kentucky also has its caucuses Saturday, and Louisiana holds their Republican primary as well.

Trump has early leads in both states.
